On June 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2017 the South Lakes Congress was held in a new venue, which got wide appreciation from all that went, there was a great (cheap) cafe, a bookstall provided as usual by Chess Direct(Andy Butterworth) and it was all held in the picturesque Lake District Market Town of Kendal.
